Social TV Features Added to DISH iPad App

DISH recently teamed with GetGlue to bring new social TV features to the DISH Explorer iPad app. GetGlue is a sort of Facebook for TV fans. Users can “check in,” see what’s trending across the TV landscape, and share thoughts and commentary on their favorite shows. The second-screen DISH Explorer app now includes GetGlue’s check-in feature and real-time feed of TV-related comments, pictures and videos. You can also connect with others who are, say, psyched about Shark Week (does Megalodon really exist?) or wondering if Parks and Recreation is coming back for another season (answer: YES!)
