DISH Super Joey Launches March 13
The Super Joey from DISH will launch March 13, giving subscribers the ability to record an unprecedented eight shows simultaneously.
We got our first look at the Super Joey earlier this year at the Consumer Electronics Show.
The Super Joey extends the performance of your home entertainment system by adding an additional two tuners to the six already provided by the Hopper DVR. That means you can record a total of eight programs at the same time – the four major broadcast networks plus four additional channels.
TechRadar gave the Super Joey its Best Home Theatre Product award from CES 2014. Reviewed.com honored the Super Joey with an Editor’s Choice award, saying that “For TV junkies and large families, that’s an incredible value, and a good reason to never get up from the couch.”
The Super Joey joins a troop of new DISH products unveiled this year. DISH also introduced the Virtual Joey at CES 2014, which delivers DVR capability through an app on select LG TVs and Sony PlayStation consoles. Also new is the Wireless Joey, which lets you control your DVR and watch recordings from any television connected to your home network.
