DISH, Disney Launch Free Online Streaming Service
DISH is no longer simply a satellite TV provider – it’s now a full-fledged Internet TV operation.
Following closely on the heels of its carriage agreement with Disney, DISH today announced free online streaming services that deliver unprecedented access to shows, sports and entertainment.
DISH subscribers can now watch live streams and shows from ABC, ABC Family, Disney Channel and Disney XD on their computer or mobile device. Customers can also catch live programming from the vast lineup of ESPN channels, along with ESPN Goal Line and ESPN Buzzer Beater.
Streaming is currently limited to New York, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Chicago, Houston, Fresno, Philadelphia and Raleigh-Durham, but the service will be expanded soon to support additional markets.
